ICE cars will go away like steam cars… they didn't get banned, technology just moved on.
For a single EV car, it takes about 5k driven miles to equal the CO2 to make the car, anything driven after 5k is zero CO2
So yes it costs CO2, but it also doesn't create CO2 itself once constructed.
How everything is created, obviously best practices, like any industry, need regulation in countries that mine for raw materials.
My question is if i ditch my smart phone and just keep to my laptop, am i still contributing to this problem
New Battery Technology makes everything Joe said about batteries. kind of irrelevant. There's no Cobalt in sodium ion batteries. You have to be an ignorant a**** to buy Apple products. At their prices they could be using union labor and still make a grotesque profit. I know adding to out infrastructure is expensive. But we're spending billions right now on the gas and oil industry infrastructure. And as people phase-out use of ice Vehicles. that's going to be stranded assets.
Arrest all the oxy conspirators & donate their assets towards an answer.
