Lighthouses can be seen as far away as 28 miles away and the average lighthouse is around 250 feet tall. According to Spherical Trigonometry and the size of the Earth. 28 miles in distance would net a curve of 533 feet. Thst means even the allest lighthouse in the world would not be able to be seen at 28 miles away. The tallest lighthouse in the world stands at 480 feet tall.
