  1. If you put a fat dude on an island with no food but with 100 gallons of fresh clean water and came back 2 weeks later to check on him, he’d be just fine. He’d be hangry but he’d be fine and he’d weigh less. His body would have used all that stored fuel (fat) for food.

  2. I was obese in 2016.120 kg. And I thought this is how it will be, I thought weight loss was impossible without drastic measures. And then I started walking (not running) to my workplace and back. 7 km to, 7 km thro. And I lost 35 kg in 3 months. Now I am overwheight again, after siting at home for too long, but it's just 95kg (+10 over my normal weight, not +35). What helped me originally was the very scenic route I had. Walking was not a problem, the problem was I could be bored. When I am bored, I cannot do even what is needed, at least not for long. I wonder, if there is something that can be fixed at urban level to improve people's health.
