There is one continuous theme between SDA and FG is that Jesus is coming back only for HIS church not to be sacrificed again. There is harmoney here so let's preach the common goal of SALVATION.
I would love to hear more clarity when people speak about “repentance”. The word’s meaning is taken in so many ways.
‘Repentance’ in the context of eternal salvation is NOT “turn from sin”. The words ‘turn from sin’ have been added in a few translations (interpretations), changing the meaning entirely and ultimately putting our eternal salvation on our own shoulders, dependent upon our own merit.
To ‘repent’ and believe the gospel means that we turn from unbelief or false beliefs about Christ~ and BELIEVE the gospel of Christ.
Saying ‘repent of sin’ unto salvation means that WE MUST STRIVE to stop sinning in order to be saved. Which in turn, is saying that Christ’s shed blood, death and resurrection was not sufficient to save us. It’s putting a condition on salvation, which the Bible does not teach. Eternal salvation is the free gift of God to all who BELIEVE the truth of Christ and what He, ALONE, obtained for us at the cross~~~Redemption.
Repent and believe the gospel……. (Turn from your unbelief and BELIEVE on Christ the Savior)
For by GRACE are you saved through FAITH.
The GIFT of God!
I’m not sure I understand what you said at 5:55.
We all (Christians) believe that Christ’s ministering work is still going on from heaven, but that isn’t what was stated. The man said that SDA believes Christ’s work in heaven, in 1844, had gone from the Holy place to the Holiest of Holies. In other words, in 1844, they believe there was a change in Christ’s heavenly ministery~~ a SECOND WORK of atonement. I didn’t hear you address that specific point.
Cult preacher..
YESSSSS THEY ARE!!!!
