Thank you for your post. I am a SDA born and bred.
Your post is well expressed and I thank God!
I will say I have not noticed SDA's with this judgemental and agressive attitude of calling other denominations a cults.
I hope folk will check out the info presented here by Pastor Doug and that this will aid their understanding of God's word.
If this is done sincerely, with prayer, it will make many things SDA's believe clear and confirm that we are a bible based denomination who speak the truth as revealed in the bible.

The bible teaches that Jesus has put away sin forever by His once for all sacrifice- Heb 9:26; Dan 9:24; John 1:29.
Where in the Ten Commandments are we told that we are to go to church on Saturday?
Where in the bible are we told that we cannot go to church on Sunday?
If we were to apply your verbatim fallacy, you couldn't provide a thus says the Lord from the bible for the majority of your novel SDA doctrines. Where in the bible are we told that Sunday is the mark of the beast? Show me one place in the bible that Sunday is the mark of the beast.
