I have a question and would appreciate any thoughts or ideas. With Leviticus 23:10 it states "when you enter the land I have given you". Is this Israel or wherever we are living? This is the only feast that says this.
I have repented my Tattoo's I got (I only have one but it was a memory for the children I had that died) because I have felt strongly that Yahuah asks us to not be like the world, and there is a letting of blood when we get them. There is pain, and it is a permanent mark and reminder of those who are gone, moments past, mile stones gained. There is no one I know who has ink that just got it 'because'.. even if they were drunk, or high, they had good reason. At least at the time. Something they wanted to etch in their flesh. I still struggle with wanting more, but I know that's my flesh.. not my spirit. So I politely tell it to go draw in a corner and I'll happily visit that memory without the blood letting and the cutting into my temple. This lesson.. the whole Torah portion.. is so very loving and so much about being good and faithful not only to Him but to ourselves and our brothers, sisters, elders, and examples for our youth. Thank you for the way you put this together. I always love hearing your take on His words. Barukata Yahuah, for your son, Adam and his heart to learn with us and guard your ways. HalleluYahuah.
Very interesting about whether we are or not to eat meat after 3 days, we buy whole cattle for our yearly meat and freeze it also my husband's a hunter and he could have an animal hung up for a week before its cut up and then freezed, just very interesting if eating frozen meat after the 3 days if that is defiling to our bodies or not as its such a normal thing these days definitely makes me think twice
On Lev. 19:19; that's what we the Natsarim are called to do… to GUARD, 1) His Name, YAHUAH ELOHAYKEM; and, 2) His Commandments. We are GUARDIANS! When I was in the Army, I had belonged to a 101st Airborne unit called the Guardians. Our motto was, "We are Guardians! We will train and MAINTAIN!" MAINTAIN… that's exactly what we Natsarim (GUARDIANS) are supposed to be doing.
