When the result got announced that he lost to Biden and he came out and said "Hey it's all good I will try for a second term in 2024" and didn't act like a sore loser for multiple months. People wouldn't have cared and all this indictments wouldn't have become a thing but when you fully embrace the "Election got stolen its all corrupt" motive and file multiple lawsuits that all failed and the fact you keep saying you have evidence that the election was stolen but actually don't people will come after you and for good reason. You tried to stay in power when you lost the election. End of Story. Everyone started their investigation into the 2020 election way before he even announced that he was running again so no this isn't a ploy to keep him busy during the election year when things take time to play out.
The legislature was also meant to be politically divided. Where it all went wrong was giving the office of the Presidency too much power, allowing Congress to create countless executive agencies and then give its powers away to those agencies and to the judiciary, politically corrupting the judicial system and in granting the judiciary absolute immunity without any oversight and with lifetime appointments in which the American people have no say.
