I don't think this is incompetence. So much points to planned destruction for a future "smart city"! The government criminals will do anything they want, if we allow them.
None of these people live on Maui, not even BJ Penn. Everything Tulsi said is absurd… Maui County did an amazing job responding to the fires and keeping residents informed afterwards. I religiously checked the county pages multiple times a day for updates, which were thoroughly informative. Maui is a rural island with rural infrastructure. No one could have stopped those fires on that day. There were 80mph wind gusts for 2 days straight and there had been a 7-month-long drought. Once the wildfire started there was no stopping it. It was no one’s fault. I’m so sick of hearing people who don’t live here think they know what happened that day, and sh*t all over our county workers and government officials who all did their best to respond to this incomprehensible tragedy.
It is disgusting how the US government lets its own citizens suffer while funding the entire world. That is what makes people snap.
