Hey Joe Rogan! I have an idea for a topic to discuss, this really grinds my gears- The Golden State Killer, that Joseph? Deangelo un-human? He committed so many rapes and murders that (this is the crux of the matter) the judge decided that a court case would last too long and cost $10,000,000 over ten years of trials, thus they gave him a plea bargain with no death penalty. ARGH! When did courts get the power to put a price on justice, Mr. Joe Rogan? That is the topic.
Were the citizens asked? Could not the case be broken into a few cases? Once one or two murders were proven and a jury said -death penalty-, couldn't he already be placed on death row, while being brought out to stand for the other murders? Which would be tried for the decency honor and piece of mind of the other families? Citizens would volunteer extra tax money. Millionaires and Billionaires would donate the money until the taxes were collected. Joe Rogan, my father was assassinated in a no death penalty state, I am living with that. However, now whenever I see someone in the news being sent to death for one murder, my blood boils. Not that they don't deserve justice, though a legal precedent had been set! Deangelo was loose for over 40 years or so, killed over 13 women, 53 rapes, and him not getting the death penalty is a travesty and miscarriage of justice, sir. Comparitively, no prisoner that committed one murder should ever face the death penalty… just because Deangelo should not lord over them, like a sacred cow!!!
Good man, please cover this topic, it cannot be swept under the rug! Nowhere in the constitution does it say justice has a price! This monster is rewarded for his cunning and cleverness, there should be no such thing as financial overload justice default plea bargains.
