My wife bought me a flashlight……..wow could the moon actually be a flashlight? you're an idiot.
The moon is not like a blinking Christmas ornament. Light reflects off of the moon like it reflects off of comets, asteroids and such things.
I liked and subscribed.

Let me explain. This is a toy meant to look like the real moon. The real moon is a solid rock lit by the sun, and if you zoom in (with a P900 of course, no NASA tricks) you will see shadows from the craters. A self-illuminated moon will not have those shadows.
Ha Ha … my son has one of those in his room … and yup, that is truth in plain sight!!!
