Witnessing His death did not save anyone, if that was all it took many more than just a few soldiers would have been saved that day. Both criminals that were Crucified with Jesus would have been saved and yet only one of them is recorded in Scripture as being saved. You people see and yet you don’t see and you read your false conclusions into your narrative. Try prayerfully studying your whole Bible and by the Grace of God you might qualify to do these posts. The Bible teaches that you are saved by Grace and that you must be Born again and that human works have nothing to do with it, Salvation is by God and God alone. According to what the Scriptures say, I can see only Two people at that Cross being Saved and that is the Centurion and the one thief but you suggest more than one soldier was saved and because of what they witnessed. Nonsense, many people witnessed Jesus Miracles and yet many of them were the ones hurling insults at Him. Salvation is not an intellectual achievement it’s a Gift from God. Too much to discuss in a comment only to fall on deaf ears.
