  1. When we are doing the right thing, and get reviled, especially when it's by someone we dont know, it's the evil spirit in that person. The bad spirit in that person knows the spirit of Jesus in us.

I understand about family being against us. I come from a very abusive family. It took me a loooong time to grasp the concept that a person's own parent or sibling can bring evil intentionally. One of the things we as humans need to fully grasp, is the fact that evil is all around us. Too many times, we attribute evil deeds people do, to mental illness. It's not mental illness. It's evil.

  2. Okay, not to be The Parrot here Pastor Batchelor when we study The Event's of 1844; The Great Disappointed and often when preaching this message you always wisely begin with The Disciples Great Disappointment?

In spite of Jesus trying too get them to Understand The Plan of Salvation to betrayed by one of his own and given over too Jesus' Enemies where He wil be Crucified would be laid in the grave and will Rise again on the 3rd Day.

Yet Jesus Disciples heard Him not and from the sound of things Jesus' Disciples had selective hearing when recalling The Master's Word's.

So you have Diyamos Thomas (I've pledged to never call him by his Street Name), after everything that had happened to Jesus he witnessed his crucifixion and Jesus choosing John to be his Earthly Mother's Son that probably stung a little.

Thomas remembered what we read in Matthew Chapter 24; which we ourselves should not forget.

Many will come in My Name and say I AM HE and Do Not believe it because if So They could Deceive The very Elect.

Jesus teaches that there should rise False Christ, False Messiah's, Prophet's saying I AM HE do not Believe it Because if so They Can Deceive the very Elect.

If they say I AM in the Desert 🏜 do not Go of so can deceive The Very Elect, if they say I AM in the Attic or The Basement Do Not Believe it They Can Deceive The Very Elect.

Jesus taught his fledgling Disciples To be as Shrewd as Serpent's. Why are we attacking Thomas when we know deep down inside if that had been Us after what had happened to Jesus on The Cross 5 Wounds he received.

He was beaten spat upon by the jealous Religious Teacher's of his day, He was flogged so bad Roman Whips had teeny tiny metal tips guaranteed to rip the flesh from your back and shoulders, a crown of thorns was smashed into his cranium sweat & blood ran down his face.

Then once arriving at Calvary He was taken laid out on The Cross where his hands are wrist were then nailed followed by his Feet.

Upon declaring It is Finished Christ gave up his Spirit an a Roman Soldier making certain he was dead thrust his Spear in too Christ side him piercing right into his lung.

The other two crucified with him they're legs were broken so that they'd die quicker.

My point is yeah we know what happened from Us reading The Bible; but, in spite of The Disciple's of Jesus Study of The Scriptures and the Prophecies pertaining too The Messiah and their overt reliance on Their Own Religious Teachers taught Them.

No Thomas was not going to accept so readily what every body else said Yes too right away after all.

Thomas and the other's are still stinging from The Betrayal of Judas.

So I don't think we should. Continue scoffing at Thomas because many of Us are Thomas regarding certain Biblical Topics that we'd prefer act as though They Don't Exists.

I'm just saying we might want to re-think the lesson of Thomas.
