The Truth/Fact of the matter is, that God Almighty Father Himself "chooses the DAY" to reveal to us (humans) that Christ was risen by sending His own Angel to open or roll the Tombstone in the "EARLY" Morning of "SUNDAY" while still DARK (no sunlight yet/no sunrise yet) and witnessed by the Roman soldiers who were petrified from guarding the tomb after the Jewish Sabbath (Saturday) was over or the Sabbath had passed as narrated by ALL (4) Gospel writers…
Why did God never reveal to mankind the risen of Christ on Saturday (or choose Saturday) to keep the Jewish Sabbath day?… Nobody knows why, but that was "God's Sole DECISION"… God chooses to reveal to us in the Early morning of SUNDAY while still dark, the first day of the Week… since Christ Jesus is the "Lord of the Sabbath"… His Resurrection Day of Sunday was chosen by His own Father (God) to reveal to us, as our Christian Sabbath (SUNDAY)… (Bible theologians and scholars believe why perhaps God chooses SUNDAY as the Christian Sabbath was in order to LOSE/REPLACE/ SUPERSEDE/OVERTURN/DESTROY the Pagan Worship Ritual of Sun-god during Sunday… just like when God destroyed the Image status of BAAL and other gods)…
Analogy… for example, if we lose a human friend or spouse, the "best" replacement is also a human friend or spouse and not a pet animal… if we lose a pet animal, the "best" replacement is also a pet animal (dog, cat, parrot, hamster, etc.)… same logic/analogy… To lose/supersede/overturn/destroy the Pagan Sabbath of Sunday, the best replacement was the Christian Sabbath of Sunday… that makes a lot of sense and logical reasoning…
While Jewish Sabbath was still on Saturday and Islam/Muslim Sabbath was on Friday when Prophet Muhammed was taken to Heaven as the Muslims believed… Facts and Truth… Amen.
Sabbath was for a sign between god and Israel. The Jew requires a sign.
