If you think we were founded on a Judeo Christian principle you need to examine the founding fathers a little closer. The majority of them were neither Jewish (I don't think any were…) nor Christian (Jefferson took out everything from the Bible except the quotes from Yeshua and declared THAT should be the Bible).
If you dont know the truth pray to God to give you the wisdom . Bible is the ultimate answer for all question. Sabbath is not Sunday my friend . God bless you all 🙏🙏
The Bible just says after 6 days, you rest. But since Jesus died and rose again, the Sabbath hasn't changed but WE in Christ have changed and our relationship to the Sabbath and what it means has changed. Christ is our Sabbath rest, not some law/day to keep. Neither the Book of Acts nor Romans repeats the Sabbath command but IF you want to keep this day or that you are free to (Rom 14) just don't judge your brothers if they differ with you on which they observe unto the Lord (just like with food choices). No calendar was in place when God created the Earth. There's NO proof He started on Sunday and finished/rested on Saturday! If you want to observe a Sabbath rest, you can but you can't make it a law that ALL must be a carbon copy of you and observe it the same day because NO calendar existed in the beginning! God didn't speak English and say "On Saturday observe the Sabbath", it was simply after working 6 days (whenever the Jews' week started) then rest until Jesus fulfilled the MEANING of the Sabbath rest! The Sabbath rest was a SHADOW of things to come (i.e. Jesus). Now He has come, He has FULFILLED the LAW! Now, you are FREED to observe whatever day you want! Your righteousness is NOT tied to your works (or keeping some day/law as commanded by false prophet Ellen White). Follow Christ not her!
PS: Doug Batchelor and the SDA do produce some good things but there's enough error mixed in that it's troubling the path they're on. Elen G White was proven to be a false prophet, wrong on her predictions and yet the Amazing Facts is a SDA ministry and the SDA as a whole looks to a false prophet White and as a result has gone off track. Very sad!
Saturday is not a true sabbath. It's actually a day from the pagan Gregorian calendar. How can we be so sure about this that this Gregorian calendar would pinpoint the true day of Sabbath .
