The one thing I wish would happen with substances is this. That people that have had spinal injuries would be allowed to have pharmaceutical grade cocaine. And there is a big reason as to why, currently people with these injuries are usually given an Rx for opioids, those opioids do not actually do anything for the pain one would have due to spinal injuries. cocaine on the other hand the pain has been proven to be gone. And there are doctors which have advocated for this. Both drugs can be life long commitments. One actually works. The other just dulls the mind so you don't care. With the one that works, it is possible for some of the people to actually try and recover. The other, has proven that the desire to recover is low.
But drugs on any level for kids imo is bad, to just kind of bring it back to topic, including caffeine and sugar. There also seem to be reports that coke causes lower back pain. Lower back pain is not > spinal injury pain. Spinal injury is worse than any kidney stone pain and does not stop at any time. Imo, it is a magnitude of x3 of a decent size kidney stone.
Joe Rogan should visit Bolivia, Coca leaf is legal there, you can chew it and get high from it but people don't go out there and abuse it, it's a legit drug with the key ingredient to make cocaine. Also for people who visit or live in mountains like LA Paz or Beni coca leaf are basically free because it keeps your body fluids circulation going and prevent major headaches due to its heights.
Very big part of drug ABUSE is wether you are happy or not and the society you live in plays a huge part in that. I think that every drug should be legal, but the most dangerous ones should not be sold, like fentanyl analogues that are like morphine x100000 potency. I think that if it's done right like in portugal, the user rates will start to plummet, and even more importantly I think that something like 99% of people in that situation who are addicted to opioids would choose heroin over fentanyl, even if they used to be addicted to fent, that drug really sucks It gets you high for literally like 2-5mins and atleast I didn't get any euphoria what so ever from it, just the feeling that breathin turned very heavy and difficult, but every other opioid ( except fentanyl and its analogs) gives me huge euphoria. I've done pretty much every drug there is and am currently addicted to opioids, but funnily enough the only drug I immediately fell in love with and got hooked streight away was king alcohol, everything else took some getting used to, but with alcohol I drank for the first time about the age of 12 and like 6 months later I would go on like a month long benders and just take a couple of days off after a month and then start again and was making my own wine, because it was the easiest way to get ahold of it and the only way I could afford to drink so much, once you buy all the supplies for it after that every 10 liters of 17% wine would cost 2-3euros.
