  1. I'm a black man. Your moniker will not uphold. We have been called everything but Hebrew: negro, afro American, ebo etc etc.
I take offense to be called ADOS because it attaches a history to a people instead of a name and lineage. We were not slaves before we came to American and the slave era is gone. We are who we were before the slave era. However every black person you see is not descendant of slaves. ADOS is a socioeconomic title given to us not a race or nationality. Attaching ADOS to us as somewhat a nationality is wrong and misleading. It is not up to you to name us but up to ourselves. Most black people know of their indigenous Hebrew roots. Why not Hebrew or Israelite; how about Moorish? See, calling us by any of our original names would let the cat out of the bag.
There are things that most white people don't know about black people. We need to have a dialogue with (regular) black people too instead of the Jessie Jacksons and the Oprah Winfreys. There is a lot of knowledge not taught in American schools but can be found elsewhere. It's ironic to us that you are discussing what to name us. In my personal opinion it strange.
