3. Informative video. What is their solution? What is the alternative? What is the transition? While the system remains the same, the behaviours and dependencies on certain technologies and mechanisms will remain the same. Pointing out the dangerous risk of using these technologies does not alter the continuation of their use – it may reduce the use – but it will not stop the use. No one who points out the inefficiencies and brutalities of the socio-economic model creates or provides an alternative to the environment that relies on the socio-economic way of things as they are. They simply point it out, and suggest you reflect and deduce and finally engage in some degree of reductionism and minimalism. Yet, the socio-economic environment that entrapped your psyche continues to be the system you depend on because without you will enter existential collapse and at the same time you are perpetually kept in existential crisis because the monetary system as ensured that all your behaviour, all your opportunity is dependent on that system.

   Thus, all anyone can do is provide information and build awareness, while the vast dystopia continues to build up and up and around, and across, and over there, until all you do is internalize facts and numbers, opinions and perspectives, however subjectively and objectively packaged, and you continue as you are with the awareness that partially or wholly things are rather broken. Well, what is the solution? The thing is the solutions have been provided time and again by so many thinking and caring human beings in many areas of social and cultural disciplines and they are always fundamentally ignored, they are fringed and yet we all know that Stafford Beer, Jacque Fresco, Nikola Tesla, Peter Joseph, and many more such thinkers and inventors, that they were right. Things are broken. The fact is we are all too fearful to do much about it and thus rant and rave and get back to work. Well, it will reach some point where the pressure will cook us to such an extent that people will have no choice but to rise upward and throw the masters of civilisation into a ditch or the masters of civilisation will wipe out the slaves, and the whole god damn process begins again.

   What then are we to do, the people? We have no weapons. No army. Unless we become the forces of power and say well no more but yet again you see, let’s say 20% of people on Earth stopped working, and said no more, and a grass roots movement began where people simply worked together, shared what they could and developed their own systems and tech, the militia would be soon at their door. Then what choice do people have in the future but to rebel and enter direct conflict with a system that is killing everyone's body, mind, and spirit. They simply have no choice. Look at the various protests in recent years, all painted by corporate and politically owned media as villainous and dangerous, and acts of aggression are shown to remind everyone else that if you try this we will come after you too. Then what is our future in such a war-like civilisation? Do we fight and die, or do we do nothing and die. Perhaps all we have left is to arouse a new type of thinking, which may cause a change in behaviour and desire, and may alter the future in some 200 years. Perhaps the agents of good will and compassion, which is all they have. Information sharing and awareness building.

   I mean what are you going to do exactly? Pool your money into one bank account and share it with 100 other people in your area, and share your food, and home, support one another, and all work part time, working toward a communal environment, land and so forth? Are you going to be vulnerable and trust one another? Account for the fact that many of us are hurting and need support and that at times the people who participate and contribute will be different to you. How will you identify, will it be a top-down system of control or a more share-responsibility model? How will you all ensure the quality of the community is not sullied by dictatorial or tyrannical leanings? How will the community ensure peoples safety, how will people gain education, work, skills etc. These are all questions that will need answering. If you begin developing your own energy technology, or your own tech, or schooling systems, or other, will the government shut you down, how many of the 100 will remain. Perhaps after 2 months of living 20 will leave because they cannot manage the identity crisis and transition, the adjustment. Then at 5 months another 20 because the police, patent office, political attacks are too much for their families and children, or just too much, and then at 8-9 months your left with 35 people. Then by the end of the year, 22 people remain. Who then will take such a movement seriously and yet such a movement is already in the bedrock of people’s hearts, their cathartic satiation through consumerism to distract from the threatening control and manipulation of wage-slavery will inevitably erupt into a rebellion like this.

   Our future as a global people really looks precarious with a small ray of hope that if we do make it and come together, if we do perform the great sacrifice, the great austerity, if we do push into a more stable and fair world, then future generations will ask us why scarcity, inequality and conflict plagued us when we had everything to solve the god awful problem, and we will have little to nothing for a reply but that it was a barbaric time.
