If we are on a globular earth, airplanes should follow the same downward trajectory as ships do if flying parallel over the same curved water. But they don’t. Ever wonder why?

a common.. wrong scale and yes we do! 1. the curvature is not as crazy. remeber we live on a huge planet. and 2. the plane flies at about 11'000m altitude so it takes way longer until the plane disappears. but yes of course we see that.. most of the time the airplane is so small that you dont see it but if there are contrails you clearly see it. just google contrails horizon !!
