Does the atmosphere solve “the problem of sunsets” on a flat Earth? FYTube

This is clip is meant to compliment the last video I posted called: Flat Earth and Atmospheric Magnification (short version): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sWJdZXlPZb8

When I did my experiments showing how cities can be obscured at a distance due to magnification and refraction, I realized that the same test could be done on the sun and moon. This video highlights both tests and shows how it is VERY possible for the sun and moon to rise and set over a flat Earth thanks to the huge volume of tiny drops of water vapor that are contained in the atmosphere. Don’t believe me? Do the test yourself and see!

Obviously, the more moisture that is in the air, the larger the potential magnification would be. Likewise, when there is less (or no) moisture in the atmosphere, you would observe the sun and moon get smaller as they set (as we have seen in other videos).

  1. LOL Nearly all of these comments are from the usual bible thumpers who base their knowledge of planetary science on an old, dusty book that was written centuries before the Americas, Australia, or Antarctica were even discovered. "The Firmament!" "The world shall be stable!" "The Sun stood still!"
Seriously, stop trying to educate yourselves by watching youtube videos. The solar system was well understood centuries before NASA even existed.

  2. … Fro the car and skyscraper thing you place thing not at the same relative distance, in the city picture car is right in front of camera and building is far away, on the coastal view you put the car far from the camera and the building is far far away. In city pic there is no zoom, in coastal pic there is a lot of zoom… you cannoct deduct anything by comparing those two…

And for your lens experiment : well at least you did try something, tha'ts already way further research that most FE addict. But seriously, if its the air that make that lens effect why are you using a unique lens, i mean while sun is moving away from you there is more and more air beetween you and the sun so more en more lens effect, your expériment doesn't show that. Also the distance scale is again not respected… you start very close and moving it 10 to 100 times further away, in FE model sun is at ~8000km above us, isn't it? so at the very most it should go like 5 time further away (~40 000km).

Also if air is magnifying thing why further thing appear more little than they are? cause from your experiment they should remain the same size, shouldn't they?
