  1. Yah the bank that gave out the loan clearly has their own appraisers before they hand out loans and they were clearly in agreement with the value . Not to mention they got.reimbursed. with interest.

  2. Well, it’s funny how he says they don’t even try to hide it because they said it was worth 18 million Donald Trump said it’s worth at least 1.2 to 1.5 billion which is really funny because Buckingham Palace cost 1 3 billion so you’re saying Mar-a-Lago is like Buckingham Palace

  3. Another significant point is that trump valued the property as having the option to be developed. However, per the deed, he put that land into some conservation easement or something which prohibits any future development.
    So basically it’s worth more when there is a potential to develop on the land, but since trump didn’t want anyone to develop on the land and wanted a bigger tax break, he put it into a designated land type that explicitly prohibits further development.
    So what you have here is a classic case of trump shooting himself in the foot for more tax breaks. Oops.
