So… I get lots of crazy responses on just about everything I do. But some of the stupidest ones recently are those which state that my experiment showing illumination of the underside of clouds was due to the reflection off my table (which had a non-reflective table cloth on it). Such stupidity was just begging for a response. And this is it.

There are also Flattards. Both Balltards and Flattards make their respective camps look stupid.
Why don't you try placing the camera above the clouds (that wooden planck) and see if you can block the sun. Because there is actually a difference between seen the object itself and seeing a reflected image, at least I can tell the difference even with mirrors. So if you are flying an airplane and the sun never gets below the clouds, the clouds wouldn't block the airplane from seeing the sun isnt it? Since not only the atmosphere in the surface is thicker, but light reflected by the sureface would have to go all the way from the sun to the surface and back to the airplane while the light from the sun would only travel the distance between the airplane and the sun in a thinner atmosphere, isnt it ?
