So… I get lots of crazy responses on just about everything I do. But some of the stupidest ones recently are those which state that my experiment showing illumination of the underside of clouds was due to the reflection off my table (which had a non-reflective table cloth on it). Such stupidity was just begging for a response. And this is it.

1 that light does not look parallel
2 the light in the air would have much different properties than a vacuum
3 its wrong to assume immediately that the earth has a glass barrier around it you need to have a control to test variables
