Am I wrong to think that joining a government military would put a person I the position of breaking the commandments like loving your neighbor, if you go and kill them because your government calls them an enemy is not loving your neighbors because those other nations al also our neighbors. I get that the revolution was practical and it was fought by civilians mostly, and it was on our soil, but any war minor or major that has occurred since have not been on our soil,for our freedom from oppression. I can't imagine YAH approving of his people killing for their governments ,in my opinion based on scriptures it would be a contradiction.
