You know……. I have never been a fan of the Police.. Why you might ask? I might recreationally use some psychedelics, on occasion. I really don’t see any harm, but the “War On Drugs” did me quite a bit of harm. I have ADD, and probably should have been on medication years earlier. Because of the nonsense I was taught, I fought if left and right. My friends girlfriend had two boyfriends overdose on Heroine. What would I do now….. a bit of this, and a bit of that. I would never touch Heroine tho!!! I certainly don’t envy the Police, right now
I lived there from the 50s to the mid 80s. Dinkins messed it up, nice guy but incompetent. Trouble with electing a minority just because they’re a minority. Could buy anything on 23rd and 2nd. No guns until crack epidemic, so it was fighting, some knives, but mainly fists and bats. With the penalties for crack, the 5 years for an illegal gun wasn’t worth it. NYC was great before AIDS, but Honolulu is the greatest city for a young man to get laid, and San Fran was great too, either for gays, but then straight men had twice as many women. Feel bad for the kids today, they don’t get the thrill of picking up a nice girl and just getting audition quality sex without making a commitment. I’ve always had a great life.
Jerry Brown was Governor when he dated Linda Rondstat in the 70s and 80s. He was elected to remove Arnold Schwarzenegger in 2011 because he wanted to rehaul the CA State Government and Employees Pensions.
