This video contains an earlier produced video by Jeranism (with some added visual modifications by me) regarding Max Igan’s Santiago flight and the flight level test I did on my trip to Amsterdam. I know many will argue that “gravity” keeps the plane level and blah, blah, blah. I’m not going to address the reasons why that is not true here apart from saying that the whole point of a gyroscope is the fact that it maintains rigidity in space. If it does not, there’s no point in using it. Perhaps I will discuss this a lot more in a future, longer video. For now, I just wanted to show the results of my test so you guys can fight about that.

Forget the dodgy compass. Look at the FLIGHT DURATION, easy to measure for anyone with a watch!!
Are you seriously questioning whether it was QF28 was a DIRECT flight or not???
If Max Igan had paid attention to his watch instead of his compass, he would have noticed the FLIGHT DURATION was about 14 hours.
The Great Circle Route between Santiago and Sydney is 11,353km. The actual distance flown is up to 300km longer, due to deviations to approach airport runways, avoiding bad weather and waypoint target selection. Look up QFA28 flights on the link below.

Measure the flat Earth route – it is OVER 25,000km!
So what would the average speed be for a 14 hour flight?
Globe (using 11,650km) = 830km/h
Flat Earth (usiing 25,000km) = 1,780km/h
The maximum speed of a Boeing 747-400 is 988km/h.

Note that this is claimed to be a 2D map of a 2D flat Earth, so it MUST be true to scale. If there is something wrong with the scale, then explain why.
Note the Equator, which is the 6th 15 deg. latitude circle. Even the flat Earthers agree the Equator is 10,000km from the North Pole. If the map is true to scale you must be able to measure other distances easily, there can be no distortion when a flat Earth is projected onto a flat surface. Get a ruler and measure the distance from the North Pole to the Equator on the map above. (measure along a longitude line, i.e. a radius.) This your baseline for 10,000km. Using the same ruler you can easily measure the distance between any two places on the flat Earth and calculate the flat Earth distance.
The distance from Sydney Australia to Santiago Chile on this map is over 25,000km! Qantas has a direct flight from Sydney to Santiago, QF27, using a 747-400. THIS FLIGHT WOULD BE IMPOSSIBLE IF THE EARTH WAS REALLY FLAT! Some other Southern Hemisphere direct flights that would be impossible are: QF28, LAN800, QF63 and QF64.
Some really silly flat Earthers have falsely claimed these Southern Hemisphere DIRECT flights go via Dubai or some other diversion to the Northern Hemisphere, that is just plain BULLSHIT! The facts are none of these DIRECT flights cross the Equator.
So the flat Earth is DEAD.
