Years ago Cosby performed for a charity dinner to benefit a successful inner city K-12 private school, and instead of speaking for the 30-45 minutes as they had asked, he pontificated about the poor state of black families and black youth for 2+ hours. School leadership had to interrupt him to get him to stop so the rest of the event could take place. You may ask “why did they wait so long to stop him” and their leadership said part of it was bc, at the time, he was so highly respected they didn’t want to disrespect or embarrass him. The sad part about this particular event was that he had a chance to make a positive impact and instead came off like a pompous know-it-all. He was never invited back.
I could never stand to watch the Cosby show. Or should I say, him. When all the women came forward, it was obvious why he gave me the creeps. I also knew someone that had a family member work on his last show with him. Their family member couldnt stand him either. What a dog…….
Colin didn’t… actually think Cosby was hero worshiping him, did he? I don’t know Colin well enough to know when he’s kidding.
