According notes in the German translation of the Quran by Catholic and Islamic theologian Adel Theodore Khoury, there was a belief that certain angels including the likes of Al-Lat, Al-Uzza and Manat (otherwise known as goddesses in some Arabian regions), were considered to be the daughters of God in pre-Islamic Arabia. However, by the time of the 7th century when Islam had become widely accepted in these same regions, the notion of God fathering angels or there being female angels at all was fiercely rejected.

The stories about manat and al-uzza getting slain so easily seems like a bitter story from Muslims haha. They are gods, are they not? I think itll take a lot more than some mortal man to slay them!

AL UZA was firstly worshiped by nabateens before Quraish. she is the goddess of all the Arabs
I do not believe that there are female angels. Angels are gender neutral and assume the gender necessary when they need to confront or communicate with man.
Remember God created the first 'female' looking individual called Eve and God allowed man to name her which he did called Wo-man.
That being said, it isn't hard to believe that 'fallen angels' after having sex with women, created daughters who were extremely beautiful and perhaps received a portion of their fathers power.
