In regards to polygamy…where it may not be a sin, it shows how we have evolved more spiritually today. And as you said Adam, the testaments of Abraham, Jacob and David…even got Solomon in trouble… tell us how multiple wives cause issues. Being female, I agree with you in not condemning it, as it was part of the reason for our Father to put laws in place to stop the "slavery" (if you will) of women as shown in the following passage from The Book of True Life.
Volume 1 Teaching 1 Verse 1 "In the beginning of time, I, as Father, inspired in man the practice of righteousness. However, man departed from the divine mandates, falling into idolatry and abominable acts before Me. The strong triumphed, the weak perished and man took woman as slave. It was necessary to convey to Moses the Commandments of the Law on Mount Sinai. In that Law were the mandates by which the people of Israel should be guided, and in these they were told: "He who kills, will have the same sentence pronounced upon himself. He who steals will make restitution to his brother. He who causes harm shall pay an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth."

They are clean at evening because that is the END of the 12 hour DAY portion and it is the start of the 12 hour NIGHT portion ..two separate DIVISIONS of time .. he already told us 3 times in Genesis he SEPARATED the day from the night …the light from the darkness …the sun was made to govern the day. .u can't have a day starting at evening heading into the night [ the darkness] while the luminary [ the sun ] that was made to govern it… is retiring away from it and going away ..and he warns of this too in Isaiah5:20 ….do not switch their order around .. Many other researchers as well have concluded that evening to evening was not how the ancient Israelites reckoned a day but started doing so after they adopted this way when coming out of Babylon and doing it like they did …shalom.
