Paul wrote the words, "in Christ" 77 times. From these two simple words we learn two things:
There is ‘the imputed righteousness of Christ’ (how He has legally ascribed to us His righteous history as our own, proven by removing the inherited death sentence passed down from "the first man Adam;" and we by baptism publicly declare our faith in this legal binding fact). And then there is ‘the imparted righteousness of Christ’ (the call to “good works” written 16 times we enter His rest, of which "the seventh day" Sabbath is "the seal of the living God." And we, by faith, daily invite Jesus to live out the wonders of His faith in us). Just know: it is "the faith of Jesus" not faith in Jesus. Hence the reason Paul said, “I die daily.”
“It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him.” And this "hope maketh not ashamed."
Happy Sabbath to you all ✝️💖🕊
