Leviticus 19:3 "you must respect your MOTHER and FATHER and obey my sabbaths".
The word "and" at the end, is an added word by english translators.
It could and should be the added word "to".
The verse should read "you must respect your mother and father to obey my sabbaths".
The translators messed this up, because they do not and will not see the correlations to why respecting mother and father leads to sabbath obedience.
Let's use hermenuitics to solve the mystery of how respecting MOTHER AND FATHER leads to obeying the sabbath days.
In Genesis 37, Joseph has a dream. Dreams are ment to be interpreted based on metaphors, dreams are not taken literally unless otherwise noted.
Joseph metaphoricly identified his MOTHER as the "moon" and his FATHER as the "sun" in this dream about who/how to WORSHIP!
So in hermenuitics:
Mother = moon
Father = sun
Now let's apply this to Leviticus 19:3, to get the spiritual understanding of what was being said:
"You must respect the MOON and the SUN to obey my sabbaths".
Respect can mean to observe.
We must respect/observe the sun AND THE MOON, to obey the sabbath days.
Moon + sun = luni-solar sabbath!
The two witnesses in the sky for all signs, days, moedim, and years.
Jubilees 50:13 defines the 7th day sabbath as a MOEDIM.
Jubilees 50:13 "the children of Israel are to obey my sabbaths according to the commandments reguarding the sabbaths of the land, as it is written on the tablets, that he put into my hand, that I should write out for you the LAWS OF THE MOEDIM, and the MOEDIM according to the division of their days".
And Enoch says the MOONs light that it receives from the sun, divides the days.
Enoch 73:3 "the sun gives its light to the moon, in PERIODS OF SEVEN DAYS".
This means that it Is the moons light that reveals the periods of seven days.
The hebrew word for week is "shabua". The definition of shabua in the hebrew concordance is "a period of seven days".
Exactly what Enoch said the moon reveals, according to the light it receives from the sun.
The moon reveals theweekl, by witnessing to the suns light.
Moon + sun = when the weekly sabbath takes place.
