2 things to notice; put your shoes off because you are on holy ground…same thing the Angel of the Lord says out of the burning bush in Exodus 3. Lastly, notice how the Captain of the Lord's host does not rebuke Joshua for worshipping Him. If He was an ordinary "created" angel, He would have stopped Joshua from worshipping Him because the angel in Revelation does that to John when he falls at his feet. The Angel of the Lord is not a created being like "regular" angels. The Angel of the Lord is how God Himself chose to manifest so that man could behold Him. This Angel took on flesh (Jesus Christ), died, was buried and rose again.
7 And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.

God has no begging, and God has no end , God is there in one, the Father, the Son, and the Spirit, Jesus is the heart of God, he is the mind of God, his imagination, nature, image, character, personality, and the attitude of God, I and my father are one John 10:30, and we were also created in the image of God, man has a body, a soul and spirit, three in one, as God is there in one, Jesus is like the soul of God, the word of God that was was spoken into existence, the master plan in spiritual realm, the spirit was the power that activated the spoken word, in the Hebrew Bible it says in Genesis 1, that the spirit of God covered over the deep, and God said let there be light, then the spirit moves according to the spoken word, and activated them as they were spoken into existence, in John 1,14 and the word, became flesh, the spirit takes on a body, this is not logical, but more of a mystery, in which we should remember as Christians, it is by grace we have being saved through faith, the word faith in the old Greek means unseen reality, Jesus is Lord to the glory of God the Father.
