There are as many as five apocryphal books that go by the name ‘Book of Jasher’ – all of which appear to have been forgeries or composed much later than biblical times. In this series, I chose to use the most accessible version of the Book of Jasher I could find as a basis for the narrative, which is translated from Hebrew and dates back to the year 1613. Whilst I did alter the language – most notably the dialogue of the characters, you’ll find that the framework and the story itself remains the same, as well as running mostly parallel to the events of the Old Testament. The Book of Jasher, known in Hebrew as ‘Sepir Ha Yasher’, is believed to mean ‘Book of the Upright’ or ‘the Upright or Correct Record’. What makes the book so controversial is that it was believed in some circles to be a lost book that is mentioned a couple of times in the bible, most notably by Joshua and David respectively.

Frolicking animals mean nothing, unless one has the desire to eat them, actively hunt them, and use them… Plants have no meaning unless they are useful, and metals have no meaning or worth unless they can be used for war, or personal vanity… Therefore the garden of Eden is but a cesspool, a latrines, because everything mentioned has zero value, until man gives it value or meaning. The roads of heaven could be paved in Pyrite and Calcite…. They are just minerals…. and prior to the Fall, Humans are just animals.
It looks like this to you because the books of Adam and Eve comes first and explains most of everything from creation … Japher is like an onlooker into mankind once on earth… why concentrate on details already known in other scriptures the forfathers knew this… and each person perception and goal for the story line will be different depending on the knowledge passed on to them and the skill of the author to write them down effectively if necessary.
i find it interesting that according to what you just presented from Jasher, Adam and Eve were made, and only THEN were BOTH of them taken to the garden, where, in Genesis, Adam was made, then placed in the garden, THEN Eve was made
