same as with the city of Jericho. For years people mocked the Bible because the city did not line up with the Biblical description. Later, it was discovered that a secondary Jericho had been build. The first Jericho match the Bible account and provided confirmation to the true. However, for years atheist and nonbelievers would use this false fact to prove the Bible incorrect. Christians are not limited by the knowledge of our times, but the truth of eternity!

The bible authors were familiar with ancient cities and kings. That doensnt validate the stories. Many of the cities still exist and are inhabited.
