Divorce Remarriage Submission & Torah FYTube

As we maintain our exodus out Babylon (Egypt) and her ways, we continuously are met with situations in our lives, that require us to re-examine the mainstream doctrine we’ve been inundated with. The topic of divorce is no exception. Today, we will explore what Yahuah’s Word really says about divorce.

Are divorces allowed? Does Yahuah hate it? Did Messiah Yahusha teach something new in regards to divorce? Are divorcee’s second rate children of Yahuah? Are wives supposed to submit to men, even if they lead them astray? These and many other concepts regarding marriage will be covered in this study.

Let me preface this whole study with this. I believe marriage is a sacred union between man and woman. It’s likeness is born to bear resemblance to our covenant (union) with our creator. Marriage should never be taken lightly, much less divorce which should be the last option available. A true diligence to preserve and maintain the marriage should be upheld at all times. With that being said, let us dive into the Word.

  1. I don't think Yeshua's teaching has ANYTHING to do with putting away women without an actual writing of divorcement. It actually makes no sense, esp given the disciples reaction to His teaching. If this is so, it is good for a man to not even get married. I don't think just writing a bill of divorcement vs putting away would invoke this kind of response. Clearly there are circumstances where there is no way out. The Torah talks of such circumstances, like taking an unbetrothed virgin

  2. Divorce is allowed for uncleanness. I've seen a study on this to mean nakedness of a word, basically saying only if the relationship was unlawful according to the Torah, and a man became aware of the sin. Ezra 10 is a good example. They married strange women. You could apply this to accidently entering into a forbidden close relation (sister, stepmother, whatever). Could this fornication Jesus talks about happen when we marry a strange unbelieving woman? Hmmm. Well the disciples thought his teaching was so difficult to follow that they thought it was better to not even marry. Spiritualizing the word fornication might not be what Jesus was saying. We have all been spiritual fornicators, even after giving our lives to the Most High. Fortunately, for men who have desire, and have been abandoned by a spouse, polygyny is clearly a lawful practice in the Torah

  3. When it comes to the topic of men being in charge of the homes, you are using some verses out of context. https://saveatreeministry.blogspot.com/2022/04/blog-post_12.html

I just wrote a page about divorce and remarriage, and what you said is very much like what I wrote and I think you did a good job with it (not that I'm anyone special), but this other part is off. This part: “And if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she commits adultery.” Mark 10:12 'put away' is not from the word for 'divorce'. it comes from the word ‘apoluo’ (send away) and not ‘apostasion’ (divorce). It's saying the same thing concerning adultery as Deut says

I realize you did not ask me for my opinion or links, but I felt the need to share them. This one is what I just posted yesterday on divorce and remarriage and I believe it is Scripturally correct. https://saveatreeministry.blogspot.com/2022/06/divorce-and-remarriage.html
