I get it, final generation. 1948. DUH. But what are we to do?
The problem one might want to be good because one is afraid for oneself. The same selfish life as always. But who does want to be good for everybody’s good. Who does truly go through it for the love of everyone. Because they have compassion. And who is trying to be good because of the fear of the tyrant God they made. Because they don’t want to be punished. Living a life of fear and misery.
