It seems to me that when one is weary and very hungry, a healing, satisfying bowl of venison, carefully prepared by your eldest son, who is showing a side of himself through the careful preparation of such a meal, a side more tender than his usual rough, gruff self, would make Isaac, his father, very well-pleased with his eldest son, and would cause Isaac to love and appreciate Esau more than his 2nd born, Jacob, whom Isaac well-knew was favored far above his eldest son by the twins' grandfather, Abraham and even by their own mother. Isaac would have learned how his own mother, Sarah, had thrown young Ishmael and Ishmael's mother out of the house to fend for themselves, for how Sarah had favored Isaac so far above Ishmael. Isaac's knowledge of those events could have left the young Issac weighing the fairness of his being so greatly favored over his half-brother, who, although Ishmael was not the son of promise, he was Abraham's firstborn. And now the fact that Abraham as well as Esau's own mother were utterly ignoring the fact that Esau was the firstborn, such could very well have softened Isaac's heart toward Esau. The unfairness (as Isaac may have seen it) of Esau, his firstborn, being scorned, could have caused Isaac's sympathy for Esau to become the great love that Isaac felt toward his eldest son, whose very positive contribution through his venison, would have easily countered and perhaps even erased, in Isacc's mind, any negative side that Esau possessed, a love that would grow every time that Isaac smelled the venison, not only for how the meal satisfied his soul, but for how his coming to love for Esau above Jacob, may have soothed his conscience, albeit, clouding his good judgment at the same time. Just a thought.
I love your ministry, and I have listened to just one of rob Skibas video.. Am like 50/50.. Because a person with that much experience and power, he must have been a Mason playing both sides, and now you guys.. Like I like and believe what you read from the Bible but all these things about Skiba is making me question a lot of things.. Am really open to another opinion
Brother, I don’t understand why you dont think Yeshua is Jesus when literally talk of the same person, you even said it yourself don’t worry about pronouncing names because every nation has different language different spelling, and you also said yourself it’s what’s in your heart. I don’t worship idol or Jesus idols my faith is from the Bible’s teaching is that the father sent his son to save us from our sins.
I'm surprised you've never seen a family dynamic like that. Parents often love the child with the worst behaviour the most.
