This is called diminishing returns, basically it means that technology advanced very fast for let's say the first 50 years, than the for the next 50 it would only advance at 50% of its initial progress made before and so on until at some point it becomes so slow that may even be irrelevant and a andoned all together. That rule applies to everything in life in one way or another, not so obvious all the time. So you say what if it continues to grow so fast and in the next 100 years A. I. Takes over the world, well it ain't gonna happen, diminishing returns will strike it and its going to rewind at some point prob even going back to square one… Not worried at all about A. I. Still worried more about humans in general because we are reaching a point of self destruction again as the cycles repeats every 2500 years or so…
I think that if we can a sentient being made by letters (programming), like an AI, it means that language has always been technology of some kind…. we have it so close to the eye that we don't see it.
