I've watched this discussion before when Skiba linked to it. IMO Joe Taylor is wrong when he claims that Danny Faulkner from Answers in Genesis is engages with flat earthers because he is open-minded & interested in discussion (55:33). That's not what Danny is doing at all.
Rather, I think Danny talked to the people on the panel solely for the purpose of helping himself determine how best to conduct damage control operations on behalf of AiG and the anti-biblical messages they push.
They obviously know the Bible isn't on their side and Danny has openly admitted that not a single verse supports his position endorsing heliocentrism. So they are fishing for other loopholes to attack and distract their audience from the fact that God's Word opposes their stance.
I've love to see Celebrate Truth and all Christian flat earthers with a large audience to call out AiG directly in the titles of their videos. Much of AiG's audience has still not yet been exposed to godly videos about cosmology, and all they know of FE is the anti-FE propaganda articles which Danny et al. have written for them.
Rebutting AiG by name will help to change that, because it will cause their audience to find channels like this one and thus realize that AiG has been misleading them about what the Bible says.
