It was all a racially motivated political stunt. A black woman, playing a racist slave owners flute to disrespect his memory. Because, that's all he ever did; own slaves.
I never cared that she played the president's flute. She literally has 8 years of flutist experience, so she probably handled and cared for it better than James Madison himself.
