Too many holes in this guy’s story
Atomic weapons emit a pulse on all bands gravity, radiation, light, radio etc. Seti only focuses on radio and perhaps light. When you set off an atom bomb it blips /EVERYTHING/ even ways of communicating we never bothered to develop that may be standard for an alien intelligence. Every time we let one off it is like sending out a loud BEEEEEEEP across the galaxy that every intelligence within our galaxy will eventually pick up. One seti theory is that of the 'dark forest' – certainly not all intelligences will be hostile, but enough of them will be that the nearest eti's to ourselves that might not be hostile, would be rather worried if we keep bringing attention to ourselves that we are putting us and THEM at risk. Short of extreme propulsion like the project orion experiment; there really is no justifiable reason why any reasonable and intelligent entity would ever need atomic detonations. Even from a military perspective, there are much more precise and dangerous techs, that have a decent chance that the person wielding them survives using it. Atomic weapons however – do not fall into this category. It a weapon of mass suicide. They flat out do not need to exist. At All.
If we keep using them, eventually a hostile intelligence will triangulate, and they likely have more precise military. We would never stand a chance.
If nothing else, look at recent observations in space. Star systems with oddly noisy background radiation (a possible indication of atomic detonations) for years eventually mysteriously explode in something like a supernova, but sometimes not. Jsut as often we jsut get super wierd readings and a flash of energy. It really would not be very difficult for a hostile to make our own sun emit a MCE that burned us to dust, or failing that – if we had off world colonies, to nova our star to get rid of us all. Even non hostile intelligences on noting our use of atomic weapons may deem us a future threat and eliminate us.
TONS of people are talking about this, dude!! The real question is, where the hell have YOU been and why haven't YOU been talking about it?? What rock have YOU been under? You say nobody is talking about it, then show us a video clip of Joe Rogan TALKING ABOUT IT?? Makes NO sense. And, imagine the size of HIS audience! (Read this message before THEY delete it!)
