I have wondered and asked the same thing. How can it be that some angels bow before God and worship him day and night forever and ever? Don’t they do anything else? What do they do for fun? How do they enjoy themselves? Then I got to thinking… imagine a very tall building, like the Empire State building. What if you had a 10-bedroom apartment in the basement, with every modern convenience and luxury. You have everything you need. You hear rumors that every floor above you is more magnificent than yours, more and more breathtaking the higher you go. Would you want to see it?
God made the earth and everything on it, including us. It was very good, very beautiful. We cannot imagine what the “upper floors” – heaven- look like, or how much more magnificent it is than our earth. We cannot comprehend what spirit life is like, or what they do. We cannot imagine what it is like to see our entire universe, and whatever is beyond our universe. All I know is: God invited those that love him and worship him to come live on the upper floors. We’ll get to see more of the things God has created. When my time on this beautiful planet is over, I am looking forward to seeing the mansion He has prepared for me.
