Jerusalem isn’t dressed in scarlet, brother. Rome was. It always was. The Catholic Church always wore scarlet and they still do. Jeremiah 30. Jerusalem will never be destroyed. Mystery Babylon will be destroyed. The Bible is very clear. There is no ambiguity in this.
Yeah you can find many cities on seven Hills, but you can’t just ignore the part about Scarlet. That is irresponsible.
I strongly disagree with your angel theory being the kings. The revelation verse you reference are empires.

King3 Persia/medes

King 5 who is – Rome

These were all empires who held the temple of Jerusalem and enslaved the people of Israel.
Revelation isn’t the most cryptic book. You just have to use the other books to unlock it.
Sounds like a Rapture to me. "They returned to the house" all those who listened to Jesus in Rev 3 about returning to our First Love.
