In today’s episode, we’ll be exploring what exactly happened to the Nephilim across multiple stories including the Book of Enoch, the Book of Giants (which is a fragmented Jewish follow up to the Book of Enoch that details the Nephilim’s fate), and the bible – which interestingly, does show us in several subsequent chapters that the giants remained on the earth in the days after Noah, which means that somehow… they either survived the flood or were put back on the earth for some reason.

Perhaps the wives of Shem, Ham, and Japheth were not "pure blooded" like Noah and his family. Perhaps they carried that taint of the Nephilim in their DNA and passed it to Noah's grandchildren and the giant DNA lay dormant until it naturally reappeared in among the population. Can't remember where I read or heard that, but it made me think.
Feels like the Israelites just saw a land that they wanted, saw people in it and went on to justify their slaughters by calling them monsters so they and their descendants could live on remorselessly, without guilt or idea that their promised land has been taken through sin.
