I just thought about something to prove the flat earth: ground radar. Ground radar sends out a straight beam of sound and if something crossed the radar beam it is interrupted and then we know where the item is. If the earth was curved the radar beam would get higher and higher the further you go. If the beam was 10 feet off the ground at 8 miles the beam would be 52 feet above the surface and would not be able to detect anything below 52 feet high. Radar can detect ships up to 23 miles away that would mean the radar is 352 feet above the surface it couldn't pick up ships less then 352 feet above the sea level.
