Your calculation is wrong. Sagitta over 175 miles and radius of 3,959 miles is 4,818 ft – 1,000 ft = 3,818ft of the mountain that you can’t see. So you should still be able to see 9,400 ft – 3,800 ft = 5,600 ft of the 9,400 ft mountain. Looks about right.
Anyone else notice the sun not getting any smaller as it goes out of view? This is actually some great video evidence to help prove that it's not perspective that causes the sun to set! 🤣🤣
