Burial or cremation, the soul leaves the body at point of death so in the end its all good. Unless those in a cult like Seventh Day Adventists or Jehovah's who deny there is a soul.
I know for an absolute truth that with in an instant or less of death your soul is rescued by an angel of God.." within the twinkling of an eye " None of this other stuff matters, you are out of here, your soul escorted to paradise. The Lord will supply us with new glorified bodies in his time… until that time your soul will be in absolute peace with God..
WEAK, VERY WEAK… from one pastor to another. As you stated , hanging on a tree was considered by the hangmen as a judgement AND a curse. Those who shun the world and live hand to mouth day by day trusting Yah for their DAILY food don’t have the money that those who play the “system” do. It cost a lot of money to die these days which those of old were not obligated to pay. I’ll be buried in a grave when it don’t cost nutin. Until then my last will and testament is cremation with my ashes sprinkled about my garden with a glorious celebration ie memorial, after the mourning is over , when my life lived for Yeshua/Yahweh can be the focus and enjoyed the best. Thanks anyway for the history lesson.
