When I was a child my parents were super religious "Born-Again, Pentecostal" Christians and they opened and ran a Christian faith based Drug Rehab for women in NYC called Crossroads on Kent Avenue in Bedford -Stuyvesant area. They were affiliated with Teen Challenge and the church run out of their chapel called Kings Chapel. A famous (in the Assembly of God circle) minister/faith-healer paid a visit. He called people up to the front for healing. My mom pushes me up front for prayer I guess and he put me on a hard backed chair and pushed my one leg hard then prayed over me as he slowly pulled on the same leg like my leg was shorter than the other and it had grown 😂. I told my mom about it and she told me to shut up. His name was Loni Frisbee. He ended up staying 6 months or so and split the church! Half of the congregation left to found a church with Ahem, Mr. Frisbee and half stayed. Craziness.
Anyone who gets rich off religion is 100% working the system. You want to listen to a true believer? Go fine a street preacher who goes home to a 1 bedroom. If not just take some heavy hallucinogens and figure shit out on your own
I actually am sympathetic to many celebrities. Miley was the one that made me realize this about myself. Her crazy was obviously an outlet and those that judge her for the crazy have no idea what living in a fish bowl and constant judgements from us is like. It can't be good.
