Hmmm? I'll bet the teacher with a Masters degree in Physics is teaching the biology classes. However, as sarcastic as this may seem, its actually closer to the truth in most education systems….same shit when we were growing up, conform to the authority. And, now it's our children and grandchildren…what has really changed?

I think the main evidence of a flat earth is via a certain phenomena, which actually happens just as much as on land (especially on the desert – because of heat) but happens much more commonly on the ocean or a large body of water. It's called a "mirage". If you read the Holy Bible, or even know physics, gasses become liquids when condensed and the origin of those gasses are from their primordial form – as a liquid. On land, we get mirages, but also fog. On the large bodies of water we get a combination of both… Evaporation (a form of liquid becoming gas) and in that evaporation, we get a long distance of non-clarification because of the fact that the evaporation acts like a lighter form of fog. So, what do we see?
If you know that old age experiment with a straw in a glass of water, but viewing it from a certain angle, the light cuts the reality of where the straw should be.
