I'm related to Drake
The Spanish navy literally pirated Drake, and he went to war with them! £3 Million pound bounty! Spanish were well known for not paying up!
Sir. Francis Drake was my 13th Great Grandfather through his son John.
Fracis Drake, silver medal around the world and pirate. He eventually died in one more of his failed attacks on the Spanish empire. British historiography has spent 400 years trying to make him much more than he really was.
you just saved me from 2h of work and a lot of tears! Thank you
