Matthew 19:28, where Jesus tells the disciples they will sit on the twelve thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel. So, in my opinion, I believe that the twelve apostles are a part of the 24 elders in the Apostle John's vision. Maybe the other twelve could be the twelve patriarchs of Israel or the prophets of Israel. Even though the patriarchs were not perfect as far as obeying God, remember the cross makes them perfect. Like I said, my opinion. 🙏
